Originally from McHenry County, and now living in Chicago, Makayla has always had a love for large-scale events & planning.

 

After working in catering, sales, restaurants & events for over nine years, she's planned everything from weddings, mitzvahs, holiday events, corporate events & virtual dinners.

She officially started Oak Avenue Events as a passion project in 2024.

​Oak Avenue is a tribute to the very street she grew up on, a reminder where her passion originated from & how a strong base can be a great avenue for future memories. This inspires her to help create unforgettable moments for future couples.
